SUMMARY:Physical Observation for Nutritional Deficiencies - Bastyr University
DESCRIPTION:Physical Observation for Nutritional Deficiencies\n– Therapeutic Assessment of Sub-Clinical Symptoms and Organ Health\nDr. Keri Brown\, ND\nTallas Health\, Colorado 80301\, USA \nPhysical Observation for Nutritional Deficiencies: Learning how to observe physical features can help you determine nutritional deficiency patterns and health needs prior to disease occurring. This information is imperative in today’s health care and in the “sub-clinical” patient\, before disease progresses to outright symptoms and blood work changes. \nTraditional doctors used physical observations of our body to confirm our health issues. They did not and could not relay on testing or blood work. Physical observations enable you to take the guess work out of nutritional deficiencies and organ health patterns. \nThis class insures a measurement of patient evaluation as a critical tool in your medical toolbox. If pre-and post-nutritional evaluations and sound patient observations are added\, the practitioner can confirm the findings while creating a recordable and even visual benchmark for patients to see the change and progress. \nThis approach heightens the practitioner’s ability to identify root causes\, target priorities\, and integrated patient interaction\, while improving understanding\, retention and compliance. Using functional assessments of the digestion system\, thyroid\, adrenals\, and more\, the health and direction of care becomes more obvious to see\, treat\, and monitor. \nWhile correlating specific observations and testing procedures\, you can determine organ health\, utilization of nutritional factors\, and what direction is best for your client. We will look at our tongue\, face\, nails\, reflexes points\, and simple office testing procedures to determine how to help our patients through physical observations for nutritional deficiencies. \nBiography \nDr. Keri Brown received her doctorate (ND) Degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle\, WA in 1998 and has successfully integrated nutrition\, emotion\, and structural therapeutics into a unique health approach. She is a founding member of Sojourns Non-Profit Community Clinic in VT\, owner of Tallas Heath in CO\, author\, speaker\, and entrepreneur. She focuses on utilizing holistic health information\, cutting edge techniques\, and common sense to support people back to health. Old traditional and country doctors used physical observations of our body to confirm our health issues. They did not and could not relay on expensive testing or blood work. \nThese are old familiar ways of looking at our body and our health. Very few doctors in today’s age learn these signs and correlated symptoms. \nPlease bring a mirror if you have one to look at your own tongue\, eyes\, and face. \nWhat participant will learn? \n\nFunctional evaluation of the body and organs\nPhysical observations for health concerns\nHow the body relates to our thoughts\nHow our nails reflex our health\nTongue analysis for heart\, spleen and thyroid\nPhysical pain and organ relationships\nWhat the face and eyes can tells us\nHealth and adjustments of the ileocecal value\nChapman reflexes for organ health and therapy\n\nCHECKLIST OF TOOLS Signs and Symptoms of the Body? \n\nNail\, tongue\, and face assessment\nFunctional evaluation of the digestive system\nFunctional evaluation of sugar handling\nEvaluation of the adrenal glands\nSystem survey form evaluation\nTissue calcium pressure test\nVertebral indicators for organ health\nOrgan relationships and our organs\nMeridian organ clock assessment\nPoints of assessment for optimal health

SUMMARY:21-Day Purification and Weight Loss Program
DESCRIPTION:With over one third of the US adult population (33.8%) ranked in the obese category\, proper and lasting weight loss is a goal on the minds of many Americans. What most people do not understand is that successful weight loss is often determined by an individual’s ability to clear toxins and cellular waste from the body. We are exposed to everyday toxins\, like pollutants\, pesticides and chemicals in our processed foods\, cleaning and skin care products…and our medicine. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that hundreds of manmade chemicals are present in our bodies\, contributing to disruptions in our immune\, endocrine\, nervous and reproductive systems. \nAs an individual’s toxic burden increases with excess weight\, adverse metabolic effects on blood pressure\, cholesterol\, triglycerides and insulin resistance (leading to Diabetes) may arise. Our own bodies even produce waste byproducts as a result of normal function. \nAlthough our bodies are designed to rid itself of these toxins naturally\, processes can become overburdened\, allowing for the recirculation of harmful cellular waste and excess hormones. The primary organs responsible for excretion functions are the small intestines\, colon\, kidneys and liver. \nTallas Health and Dr. Keri Brown\, ND will be hosting public lectures (donations) on the proper methods of detoxification and associated weight loss on Tuesday September 19 at 5:54. The lecture will be held in Gunbarrel. A 21-day program used to stimulate specific detoxification of internal organs will be presented\, as well as useful diet and lifestyle modifications. Come join Dr. Keri Brown\, RND and make 2017 a great year to achieve personal health goals. \nFor further information or to reserve your seat\, contact TallasHealth.com at 970-889-3541 or email admin@drkeribrown.com.
