Now we are HERE
Sheltering, isolating, protecting

But if we can’t go wide,
Perhaps we can go deep–
Strengthening our roots,
Finding ways to engage ours
with those beyond the walls
under, more intimate than our current ways of knowing.

And if we can’t go wide,
Perhaps we can go high,
Singing with the rising sun,
Following the guiding stars,
Shining and dimming with the moon.
