Insurance, Payment & Policies

Insurance (Out-of-Network)

I do not bill insurance directly. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may request a superbill for potential reimbursement.

Important notes:

  • Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual plan
  • Please contact your insurer to confirm coverage and requirements
  • We can provide the documentation needed for your submission when appropriate

Appointment Length

  • Initial visit: typically 60 minutes
  • Follow-up visits: typically 40 minutes
  • Complex cases may require additional time (discussed in advance)

Telehealth visits are typically via Zoom, with phone/FaceTime available when needed.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. To respect that time, and to make openings available to others, the following policy applies:

  • Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule
  • Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours may be charged a fee
  • No-shows may be charged the full visit fee
  • If you are ill or experiencing an emergency, contact us as soon as possible—we will do our best to accommodate

Late Arrival Policy

If you arrive late, your appointment may still end at the scheduled time to respect other patients. If we cannot complete the visit, rescheduling may be required.

Programs, Labs, and Supplements

Programs, lab testing, and supplements may be recommended based on your goals and clinical needs.

  • Lab testing may have separate costs depending on the lab and panels ordered
  • Supplements and herbs are purchased separately (often through Fullscript when recommended)
  • Programs and coaching packages are priced separately unless bundled

Between-Visit Communication

If you have questions between visits, we’ll help you choose the right next step.

  • Administrative questions: admin@drkeribrown.com
  • Clinical questions: may require a scheduled follow-up visit depending on complexity
  • If using a patient portal (CharmHealth), messaging there is often the fastest option
